I am proud to see our long serving PM leaves office in his own accord! That is indeed a break through in our long political history. However his leaving of office has left a legitmate concern among a significant portion of the peopel as to who will replace him. No one but no one can contest the fact that PM Meles Zenawi has turned a new page in Ethiopian history as he introduced new modes of political and economic systems that see the country through long lived dilemmas and shades some hope that the coutnry can thrive. How he will be replaced when he leaves the office however is something that can show the true nature of EPRDF as a progressive or regressive force. The long lasted dominance of the TPLF elities in the political arena as well as other aspects of government will be put on the test! Will they be courageous to give the chance to their trust worthy comrades who...shall be seen upon his retirment from office! That will be the land mark to gurantee the zero chance of the relapse of the Zemene Mesafent Era in our Mother Land!
