East Africa Forum offers an email news service and news archive at no cost to the user.
It began in 1998 to share hard-to-find news about the Ethiopia-Eritrea war. News emails are now sent to every continent, and are received by governement and international agency officials, journalists, academics, businessmen/women, NGO workers in the field, etc. The subscriber list continues to grow. All who are interested in the region are welcome to subscribe, or to use the archive.
Subscribers receive regular emails with news items and other reports about the region. The archive can be reached from the homepage. Items can be found through links under Category or by putting a term into the Search box.
